The intern will contribute to AIIB’s gender and inclusion work by supporting knowledge development, capacity building, and internal and external engagement. They will work with the Policy team under the Strategy, Policy, and Budget Department as well as support the Inclusion team under the Economics Department.
# Gender Workstream
Conduct literature reviews on gender gaps in selected sectors and desk-based research on multilateral development banks’ good practices in incorporating gender considerations in infrastructure-related projects.
Support the preparation of presentations for sector-specific trainings on gender, coordinate training sessions and other internal gender-related events, and draft minutes. Assist in maintaining and updating gender data and analysis at the corporate level.
# Inclusion Workstream
Provide general support to the Inclusion team on the preparation of an Inclusion Approach Paper, as well as on their external and internal engagements.
Conduct research on economic inclusion and development topics that can be communicated in the form of a blog post to be published on the AIIB Blog.
